Either get the Covid Vaccine or don’t. I personally don’t care anymore. I am sick of Covid and the moronic actions of those who cry about their rights being infringed or believe that Covid is a conspiracy to control and monitor us. Then of course there are those who espouse the religious argument that God will protect them.
So let’s discuss each one of these points. First, their rights are being infringed upon by restrictions, masks etc. Does the right to life not supersede another’s perceived right to not wear a mask? Exactly where in the Canadian Charter of Rights does it say a person has the right not to wear a mask? What it does say in section 7 is:
7. Everyone has the right to life, liberty and security of the person and the right not to be deprived thereof except in accordance with the principles of fundamental justice.
This kind of “Trumps” the idea that a person has a right to not wear a mask and potentially expose others to a deadly virus. It provides all have a right to life, liberty and security.
I am tired of the rights argument because it only goes one way, the rights of the non-vaccinated. Well how about the rights of all the people who have followed the guidelines like me and my family who are all fully vaccinated. My rights are being impinged upon by a minority who believes their rights come before mine. The restrictions, mandates and all continue to be in place because people who are not vaccinated keep ending up in the Intensive Cares and they keep spreading the virus to people with compromised systems like cancer patients.
The second argument that this is some kind of conspiracy to control us all is just Bat Shit Crazy!! A conspiracy that is global in nature would be impossible to keep quiet as there are way too many players that would have to be involved, just apply common sense. Frick most people can’t keep a secret, yet you expect 100’s of thousands all across the world? What are you smoking?
Also there are no microchips in the vaccine vile and each vile has 6 doses in it, how do you make sure each dose gets a microchip if they are just floating around? I am sorry but really anyone who truly believes these mass conspiracy theories is simply a TWOT (Total Waste of Time). They lack Critical thinking skills at multi levels preferring to listen to a narrative they want to hear, not the truth. You cannot communicate with a TWOT, so don’t bother.
Third the religious argument, God will take care of me. God did by providing to you scientists to produce a vaccine to protect you. God gives us choice, in this case take the vaccine and live a long life or not take it and meet God now.
I am not interested in trying to change the opinions of anyone who thinks like above with respect to Covid. There has been enough factual and scientific information put out there by people who are a lot smarter than the average Canadian in these subjects. If a person does not want to get vaccinated fine, their choice but here is a couple of things I don’t want them doing.
Forget treatment, if you get it you are on your own don’t go to the hospital or expect medical help. There is no reason why the taxpayer should be funding healthcare for a person who chooses not to get vaccinated. Each shot is about $50 and the cost of treating a Covid patient in the Intensive Care Unit is over $70,000 on average. In BC there are roughly 100 people now in Intensive Care who were not vaccinated. That is going to cost Tax Payers roughly $7,000,000. In comparison for each to have gotten two Doses of Vaccine, the cost would be about $10,000, this pisses me right off.
I also despise the hypocrisy of anti vaxxers with respect to treatment. They do not believe or trust the science that created the vaccines but if they get Covid they trust that science will save them. Get the F out!!
Today I nominate everyone who dies of Covid and was not vaccinated for a 2021 Darwin Award. This award is given out too people who have taken themselves out of the Gene Pool via really stupid acts and I think not getting vaccinated qualifies as really stupid.
I like to have fun with it too. I have met people who have said they won’t get vaccinated and I have sarcastically said “Oh your going for a Darwin Award, good luck with it”.
A perplexed look usually comes across their faces so I have to explain that a Darwin Award is, “for people who take themselves out of the gene pool by incredibly stupid acts.” Yeah I am a shit, but I am sick of Covid and all these TWOTs and Morons.
